Why these machines exist
Why we built our own machines
- Outsourcing takes your margin and your lead time. Right now you order, you pay and you wait for your preshape. With a CNC, outsourcing lead times and costs are gone.
- The CNC machines on the market are not made for a shaping workshop. Designed for metal or cabinetmaking, they are too expensive, too bulky, and unable to swallow a five-metre blank.
- Machine builders sell machines. We shape. Flipping the blank, holding it down, the surface finish, the dust extraction: every technical choice comes from the workshop, not from a design office.
We could not find the machine we needed. So we built it.

An outsourced machining job costs €180 and makes you wait a week. The same board, machined in your own workshop, costs €20 and comes out the same day. Past 94 boards, a ShapeXpert at €15,000 excl. VAT has paid for itself — everything after that is margin.

In France and abroad alike, we travel to you: the machine is reassembled, set up and commissioned in your workshop. Outside France it travels in a crate and we meet the machine on site.
- Training: 7 days.
From your Shape3D or AKU file to your first board off the machine, with your own blanks and your own models.
- 6 months support, 2-year warranty.

It is already running
In our own workshop since day one. At Gong since this year.
Our own boards come off this machine, in daily production: this is where it was designed and this is where it is put to the test. The first production machine is installed at Gong Factory. Three more workshops will be equipped with one by the end of the year.
